rosemary

Our Rosemary projects aim to push the boundaries of what can be achieved using solid-fuelled propellants. Currently, our Rosemary 3 rocket holds the UKRA open altitude record, which was previously held by Rosemary 2B.

Rosemary III

Rosemary III is our first attempt at building a subminimum diameter rocket, using a single piece resin infused Kevlar upper airframe and a machined aluminium fin can, this is aiming to launch at FAR on the 20th of September.

Rosemary II

Rosemary II is an optimised single-stage rocket that we launched at FAR in September 2024, with a goal to break the UK Amateur Rocketry Altitude Record. R2 is designed to be simple, to reduce the number of potential failure points, especially given that this was a 10-week project. The plan is to launch it first with a payload onboard that is designed to capture aerosols. On the following day, we sent it without the payload. (R2 was built twice, to be launched in the States. These are two near-identical rockets, Rosemary 2A and 2B, one longer to include the payload).
